A Carbon Fibre / Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) bonnet for the N14 - N16 car weighing 6-7kg. The steel equivalent bonnet weights 19kg giving a massive weight saving. Carbon fibre is used to produce parts that have superior mechanical properties with great weight savings. The aesthetic of the component is of secondary interest and cannot be guarenteed. It is double skinned and replicates all the internals. No wire catch so bonnet pins should be used. Threaded inserts fitted so that the bonnet can fasten to the original catches.
